The dates for registering for the upcoming 2011 AYSO fall soccer season for players and volunteers are:

Wednesday, MAY 18: from 2:00 to 4:30 pm at TAHOE LAKE ELEMENTARY and 5:00 to 7:30 pm at KINGS BEACH ELEMENTARY, or:

Thursday, MAY 19: from 2:00 to 4:30 pm at KINGS BEACH ELEMENTARY and 5:00 to 7:30 pm at TAHOE LAKE ELEMENTARY.

Tuesday, MAY 25: Open House at TAHOE LAKE ELEMENTARY.

Thursday, MAY 26: Open House at KINGS BEACH ELEMENTARY.

PLAYERS: Boys and Girls who are 4 years, 6 months or older as of July 31, 2011. New players please bring a copy of your birth certificate to the registration. The North Tahoe League consists of Kings Beach to Tahoe city to Meeks Bay and Squaw Valley.

FEES: A discount is offered during the registration nights of $65 per player and $55 for siblings. After May 30th, registration is $95 per player and $90 per sibling. Registration after June 30th is only on a space available basis per division. Player fee includes sweatshirt, soccer socks, trophy, and team pictures for child to keep. Uniforms are provided, but must be returned.

SEASON: Coaches will call your child in the month of August to begin practice. Season begins after Labor Day.

VOLUNTEERS: AYSO is run by volunteers and needs parents, friends, and soccer fans who want to coach or referee for one hour or more a week (during the season Aug-Nov). AYSO will provide training. No knowledge of soccer? Volunteer for a board position or assist a board member. Building strong team players and connecting with the community.

Please remember to check all information on the pre printed form. Clearly change any phone numbers or names.

Please keep requests to a minimum as there is no guarantee that they can be granted.

Children must have a birth date of January 31, 2007 or older in order to register for our youngest group of U6. Please bring a copy of the birth certificate to registration if you are a new player in any division. We accept children up to age 13.

The effective date of age determination shall be the player's age as of July 31st immediately prior to the start of the membership season. The division breakdown for the Fall 2010 season is as follows:

U-14 age 12-13 born 8-1-97 thru 7-31-99
U-12 age 10-11 born 8-1-99 thru 7-31-01
U-10 age 8-9 born 8-1-01 thru 7-31-03
U-8 age 6-7 born 8-1-03 thru 7-31-05
U-6 age 4.5 -5 born 8-1-05 thru 1-31-07
U stands for 'under'.
